YEARLY RETREAT / weekend workshop

Members always look forward to new and exciting Workshops relating to doll making activities.

Members have participated in many workshops and are always looking to expand their knowledge of doll making skills and current trends.

If you know someone that provides Workshops, please Contact Us.

Previous workshops include characters made:

  • with needle sculpting techniques on cloth
  • painting entire character
  • embellishments
  • creating an entire doll from needle felting
  • combining needle felting with clay / plaster features.

Monthly workshops

Monthly Workshops form the basis by which members support and assist other members with skills and techniques required in cloth dollmaking.

Monthly "adhoc" workshops are conducted during the course of a meeting providing tips, hints and sometimes "crafty" innovations that can be used in dollmaking.

Specific workshops are conducted by local Doll Designers teaching their own pattern. These workshops are highly sought after as those members who attend generally gain a greater insight into new techniques.
